Innovation is in our DNA. Since its foundation, in 2009, TNS has been committed to contributing to society by offering technologies that promote wellness and health. Extending the frontiers, overcoming challenges and introducing innovations is what drives us at TNS and earn us both national and international recognition. Check out the most important milestones in our history!
Driven by the growing health and wellness market and the use of technology in our formulations, we established TNS with the help of two major foundations: CERTI and FAPESP, under the Sinapse Project.
The Prime Program – First Innovative Company was very important to your development. The award gave us an initial boost, so we could further accelerate our internal development, and consequently, our company launch.
Getting the approval of the RHAE project - Human Resources Development in Strategic Areas was extremely important to TNS. The support from both the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communication and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) enabled us to form a team of experienced Masters and Doctors of chemistry and engineering.
TNS is launched as a result of the great dedication of Doctors, Masters, engineers and chemists to perfecting our formulations. The company started its operations in the textile sector and got its first consumers of polymer products still in 2013.
In the same year of the foundation, further investments were needed. And for that, we acknowledge the importance of the PAPPE FAPESC project, a great supporter that helped us validate our additives in different markets and supported our business launch activities.
Still in 2013, TNS qualified for an extension of the RHAE project and, once again, with the support of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communication (MCTIC) and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), it could upgrade its technologies to enter new markets in the future.
Driven by different challenges and the wish to expand, in 2014, we joined SESI SENAI Innovation Program. With the help of the researchers, we could make further advances in our formulations and identify the markets that are inclined to use chemical and nanotechnologies.
TNS received special recognition for its rapid growth and recurring customers, receiving the Stemmer Innovation Award, which is given to growing and innovative companies in the state of Santa Catarina.
In acknowledgment of our trajectory, customers and innovation in all our internal processes, the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI) chose TNS as one of the twenty-two national innovation case studies on the book “Innovation in Small, Medium-Sized and Large Enterprises Value Chains – CNI 2015”
